John, as much construction of a new machine has been done as can be done without customization for a specific site--i.e., an internally wired trailer has been put together. The size of components, the location of piping, etc., all have to be to some degree site specific. This is one reason (here I'm arguing against my previous position of always having one on the shelf, ready to sell) GRNO has adopted a build to order policy with upfront cash, since refitting a unit for an alternate situation might be expensive.

At one time much earlier, GRNO visualized shipping units in two vans or sea container type boxes--one with the already built operating guts and one full of the external stuff for assembly on site (thermal oxidyzer, stacks, etc.). However, that model has changed, along with their giving up on the idea of making units truly portable (cannot do with bigger, more cost efficient units). The plan now is to have manufacturers ship most components directly to the site (saves reshipping costs) and essentially to send a crew to assemble it on the spot. There is still debate about what parts might be more efficient to build at a single site in Charleston and to reship--primarily these include primary control systems and wiring, computers, and similar small but complex electrical components.
