So Kerry disagreed with him. Your point? There is nothing that forces all Democrats to be of the same mind. Nor Republicans for that matter.

You are all over the place on this one. Murtha was pushing for a withdrawal as soon as conditions allow it. The administration says the same. Sure, some details may differ, but the essence is the same.

Now true, one of those details is that the administrations proposal is tied to our election cycles. I can think of no higher reason for a soldier to die, so that some Republican who "had other priorities" when it came to service can get into office.
