Old business: Saw Gore on The Daily Show. He said global warming was much more destructive than a nuclear holocaust. He was downright dismissive of the latter saying that global warming is the only threat we've ever faced that could wipe out civilization or humanity, don't recall which. Whichever it was, he was greatly exaggerating the space between the two, to say the least.

The other thing he said that I found misleading was, when talking about rising water and the maps of Florida, India, etc., he mentioned current refugees and wondered what we'd do with millions. Of course, the people who are flooded out now are all flooded suddenly and at once, not over centuries. He made it seem like we'd have millions of them all at once.
