That doesn't change my basic formulation that Gore apparently places a higher threat priority on a scientific trend that is far, far from clear compared to the havoc even one nuclear weapon in Washington or New York would cause.

Regardless, I don't see that formulation convincing a majority in Washington or across the country to take action. JMHO.
