Without sounding trite . . .

you being up two pieces of data that are key to consumer products: defect/return rates and customer referral. Granted they don't show up on balance sheets or income statements, but they do affect revenues and costs of good sold. Returns cost money and referrals can generate revenue growth. Too many returns can be a problem and I have heard too many stories of folks sending machines back. The saving grace is that most of them like the product after they get one that works. I hope the company works through their quality issues soon enough to not impact their word-of-mouth appeal.
