amazingly, traders busied themselves trying to pick a top yesterday. i expected some enthusiasm to have returned, but no - about 3000 more XAU puts than calls traded yesterday, and the Rydex pm fund actually suffered a small OUTflow. this is astonishing. iow, skepticism about the recent retracement rally's durability continues to predominate, which is a medium term bullish sign.
