That's pretty much what I expected.
What is needed, and what will probably be forthcoming, is a specific push to educate the national and state DOT Safety Engineers, DOT Sign Shop managers and management, and other safety organizations about the "..decapitation hazard.." associated with metal traffic control signs (..STOP, YIELD, DIRECTIONALS, SPEED, etc..) coming through people's windshields during an impact with a sign post - while trying to avoid a head-on, etc. PLNI's plastic roadway signs should warp and deflect upon impact with a windshield, thus avoiding the maiming or death of automobile and truck occupants.
If every stockholder would just pester a few DOT people in their State, County and Town about using PLNI plastic road signs, I think we'd make a helluva impact.
Concurrently, PLNI should consider making plastic Pre-fab DOT Sign Posts to replace the damn metal "..death stakes.." that are being used now. Everywhere I travel, I see bent over sign posts that have had their signs ripped off - just waiting to impale a motorcyclist, bicyclist, or passenger of a skidding car..!!!
