"All I know for sure is that there is something to the fact that GSM is being chosen over CDMA by customers that goes beyond this thread's traditional answer of corruption."

Your speculations - pricing , choice, SIM cards are as accurate as any. GSM, as the mature widespread technology had insurmountable advantages over the technically superior upstart. Thats the fact and the results of head to head compettion are therefore not surprising. However, the future is 3G and that is CDMA and that is where the rubber will meet the road. Its starting to happen and thats why the war is full on again. Final battle for me - after the dust settles I'm going to take my marbles (hopefully more than I've got now) and leave the 4G wars to others.

Cheers, bdog
