Thank you Sid,, you are right I recall the information. I've been calling around, and sites seem to report large numbers of lines of code. I'm still working on it... this seems the crux of it all to me.

It means the difference between a currently justified market cap and one vastly undervalued, which is the whole question in a nutshell. This is of course being pessimistic about COBOL etc.

CA has, by the way, clammed up on this issue. Everyone there is refusing to even guess. I have no idea what that means.

I'll post as soon as I learn something.
