Reid doesn't have anything to worry about except the way some opponents of his will try to spin it, and pretend he's one of the Abramoff Gang. The rightwing will do anything to try and save themselves from corruption indictments, including what Delay does all the time, lie and say "everyone else does it too". One of the reasons Delay is such a crook is that on top of everything else, he continually lies and never confesses, even when caught red-handed.

The definition of corruption is very clear, it's taking money from someone to to something they want which you would not have done otherwise and something which also has nothing to do with your interests or representing your constituents.

Taking campaign contributions is perfectly legal and so is fighting for things you believe in or that help your constituents. But Abramoff was clearly paying congressmen to do things which nothing whatsoever to do with their states or their interests. It was just about cash. Which means it was bribery.
