Bush bragged about this not-so-secret program after 9-11. Remember they said they were going after Al Qaida funding very aggressively. What did we expect? Of courswe they're going to monitor suspicious bank accounts.

The only reason this is even a story is because, like the illegal surveillance program, Bush keeps avoiding the FISA court, which brings up all kinds of Constitutional and legal issues. Plus, since we can;'tr trust Bush-Cheney, who knows how they m ight be abusing those extra powers?
