<<Yes, I realize you admitted you weren't really a pacifist.>>
Then why act like I hadn't admitted it.....strange.

Don't be so sensitive. You're getting exercised over a couple comments in the first reply to the post where you admittted not really being a pacifist, though you'd posted earlier posted as if Christians had to be pacifists.

<<What does "take seriously mean"?>>
You tell me, since it was you who used it in your previous post as in.....

Perhaps I should have aske what "take seriously" means to you because in post 190462, you said I would think that every Christian should really take pacifism seriously or is it just that the Texan ones are exempt from this?!?

My earlier reference to taking pacifism seriously was to those , who like Amish/Mennonites, are pacifists as a matter of faith. Clearly you aren't like them as you say you're not a pacifist. So for non-pacifists - what does taking pacifism seriously mean?

I'm sensing a lot of Limbaugh-esque aggression here

What type of aggression is your insulting comments, like the one above re. Texas Christians?

.....it really hurts your cause.

I think it hurts your cause. You come across like someone with an emotional grudge against traditional religion.

If you drop the whole "conservative good, liberal bad" shtick

Again, this is highly ironic coming from someone who puts out a conservative bad, liberal good" shtick. Also it dodges the whole issue of why one feels compelled to use a feminine pronoun for God in a society where that is not the norm except for groups estranged from and hostile to the traditional religion - like self-described wiccans, new-age types, or folks who have a problem with the whole idea of God. Which is all I asked. I also fail to see why that question is "limbaugheque".
