DirecTV and AOL to offer Earthlink service Friday June 30, 11:10 am ET Bizjournals.com, biz.yahoo.com "Earthlink Inc. will resell Internet access service on its municipal Wi-Fi networks to AOL and DirecTV on a wholesale basis, Thursday evening news reports indicated. "AOL and DirecTV will sell it on to their retail customers, and will offer Wi-Fi subscriptions in all of the cities where Atlanta's Earthlink builds networks."
