I agree about underwriters touting companies for which they just handled a banking deal. Of the 5 brokers that have rec's. on LGND, the one that I like is Raymond James. To the best of my knowledge, they haven't participated in any underwritings and year-in-year-out they win the contest with their broker rec's.
