who was judged an illegal combatant and sent to Gitmo, who was placed in Afghan prison, and who was just let go? I don't.

I certainly have a better idea about the criteria than you do.

And the military lawyers who swarm around such operations, and their legality, certainly have a better idea than both of us.

Of course, you don't have any alternatives for where to hold such dangerous people, except to let them go.

Do they think they would be better treated if we returned them to their countries of origin?
