Carville had an op-ed in the Post today about Hillary being electable; if you follow his number-crunching, it would be a 51% "win" that would leave us in a new left-right partisan cesspool for the next four years. If you start off with entrenched negatives well over 40%, that's about all you can hope for. I hope that's not what we end up with, but more than one person here has told me my centrist dreams are just that.
