Of course, you don't have any alternatives for where to hold such dangerous people, except to let them go. Hawk, Don’t we have pretty dangerous people in regular prison? We even have “super max” prisons for the worst of the worst. Maybe we have run out of room there, so that’s why we still have Gitmo. Any chance we could put these guys in a super max? I'll bet our tough guys can beat up their tough guys. I will join others who have said that the reason these guys are not in regular prison is so that they can be denied due process outside of the US court system.
