I have a safer pick as well -- Oracle (ORCL).

Oracle is going to average at least 25% growth for many years out, most people agree on this. I think that it should serve as a core holding in most people's portflios, in fact I dare say that it is a safer investment in the Information Age than Intel or even Microsoft. Kind of like a buy, hold, never sell stock.
