Scientific debate NEVER ENDS. That is the entire point of science True, true. So why is the global warming priesthood claiming that "debate about global warming is over"? I'm not listening to Exxon Mobile. I'm trying to figure out the state of the debate - are the mechanism for climate change understood, or are they not? My reading of the state of the art is: they are not understood. In this case, my idea of prudent behavior does not involve standing my economy on its head trying to achieve some change in behavior that is highly unlikely to work as advertised.
