If you're willing to buy quantity, 20ft container lots, and pay shipping, the prices available for this "exclusive" upgrade rivals ....formica.

Builders, Maronda Homes, as an example, make quantity deals with suppliers and then contract to have the product/material they provide installed.

Imagine the pricing a large builder can negotiate when buying 20-30 containers a year....

Factor in the shipping costs and installation and I believe the cost is far less than most people believe. Of course, the small builder doing 6-12 homes a year can't go this route. I'd even bet that if you were a big outfit, the shipping costs would get cut down drastically.
