I agree, all portions of SS that do not SPECIFICALLY RELATE TO RETIREMENT should be removed from the program and called EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE, SOCIAL WELFARE. But SS as an INSURANCE PROGRAM should be left alone. jdn
