JRZ, one had to see poverty by being involved with it. In one word. Being poor himself. It will change a whole lot of your perspective if you were the poor yourself. I never came in contact with super rich people but I grew up on the Brazil of the 60's and I have felt poverty myself.

Then one had to live and work in the fourth world itself. This is not a something that one can analyse from far away. You see what a little could do to improve.

Of course the moolah being doled out will do some good as the case of the Robber Barons did with the universities in the US. I just don't think to make a positive impact one have to wait until he's at the end of his life to make an impact.

At that stage of his life he's more concerned with the money itself rather than doing good. It is a matter of principle thing.
