Mightycujo; Interesting. The NC market is far from secure in the Wintel realm as the low cost screwdriver clones are as cheap as the NC boxes, and upgradeable to boot. Some NC users do not want any expansion path, and so it will be with the Apple ones. It is hoped that a color NC is contemplated. If the NC market goes dead it will carry a lot of Apple hopes with it. The continuum of web tv - NC-stripped Wintel is getting crowded, especially as the entry cost to that market is small, so Apple will be even less able to maintain a proprietary price premium.
