Sorry -- that is the Administration's point of view (altho only in highly selective and politically advantageous circumstances, of course). It is designed to change the subject. However, there are, in fact, many debates that should be taking place, not the least of which is one on how far the nation is willing to let the executive branch go in secrecy without any effective oversight. If you want an illustration of what disastrous consequences such laissez faire can lead to, take a run through the Pentagon Papers.
