Volcker cleared the UN after a very in-depth investigation. Volcker has extreme credibility. The rightwing has been exposed as bigtime liars again. And they keep lying. You cannot offer any evidence a single UN official pocketed money. Certainly not the UN leadership. Sure there are a few renegades ripping off the system in any third world financial scheme. But those kinds of ripoffs are ongoing and much-much bigger under Bush-Cheney-Rumsfield-Chalabi-Halliburton in Iraq now.
