Islamic nuts wouldn't get the upper hand in the region?

Well Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are pretty well under control. Arguably Islamic nuts already have control in Iran, and who knows how Iraq will end up, but removing Israel from the region would have any fight between Islamic nuts and Islamic moderates be their own fight. Americans would be as involved as the Chinese and Russians are now.

In other words, once you remove Israel and the US support for Israel from the equation, there is no reason for "Islamic nuts" to dislike America. We become just a foreign non-Muslim country in another part of the world, about as important to Islamic nuts as Canada or Japan (ie, not very).

Most of the Islamic hotspot battles around the world are about land. Since the US doesn't border any Islamic countries or regions we should be the last country that the Muslims, nuts or moderates, are concerned about. When was the last time you heard Osama Bin Laden tell you how much he hates Columbia, Peru or any South American country? Never.
