In the recent financing, GENR had to reimburse the placement agents for their out-of-pocket expenses in addition to paying them a standard 6% commission (which brought the effective commission rate to about 8%). This is an unusual provision for a company is that is not in financial distress: sec.gov >> We have also agreed to reimburse the placement agents for out-of-pocket expenses incurred by them in connection with this offering. The maximum commission or discount to be received by any NASD member or independent broker/dealer will not be greater than 8.0% for the sale of any securities pursuant to this registration statement. << What this shows is that GENR has come perilously close to being locked out of any kind of non-toxic financing.
