Why is it "crazy" to protest a senseless unwinnable war based on a bunch of BS which is weakening this country more and more the longer it goes on?

This is a war which is really just the US occupy in the middle of a sectarian civil war and luring in wannabe terrorists to kill us. It's taking some of our country's finest. It's costing us more than a billion dollars a day in pure debt. It was started on a pack of lies and exaggerations, totally politicized and used to call half the country "traitors". Not to mention the fact Bush's Iraq foray saved Al Qaida's butt and distracted us entirely from any real war on terrorism.

Was it "crazy" to protest Vietnam in 1967-1971? That war too was started based on a big fat lie. Now we know that LBJ and Nixon's own advisors were secretly telling them that Vietnam was a morass, a huge mistake and unwinnable militarily because it was really a civil war we had no business being in the middle of.

After eight years and 55,000 US deaths, we finally ended it. Then we found out Vietnam was no threat to us whatsoever. In fact the first thing they did once we were gone was start a war with the communist Chinese. It's called learning the lessons of Vietnam. I guess Bush-cheney-Rumsfield didn't learn those lessons so they are repeating the same mistakes and will get the same result. Very-very bad for our country.
