Michael, you have proven absolutely no relationship between one thing (Greece) and the other (Iraq). And what DC or Detroit has to do with anything is beyond me.

By the way, in Greece, it's not an "unusual occurrence". Go spend some time there and leave your car or house unlocked in Athens. That and far more serious crimes happen every day in Greece.

Committed by American sailors? No. Thus the publicity. Would you expect the leftist press to act any differently? I don't think so. So why complain about it as if there was something that could be done about that when there isn't.

If you want to see real damage caused by such incidents, just look up Okinawa and the need to move bases because of public outrage over rare incidents of misconduct by members of the armed services. You can also check to see how well those rare instances were covered in the American press. And take a look at the coverage provided by the generally pro-American Japanese press while you are at it.

If you cannot understand what I'm trying to get across at this point, there is no need for further communications.

I think I understand it far too well, Michael, and that, I agree, is inconvenient for you. Enough said.
