No......... However I believe that should the majority of consumers cut back on usage the laws of supply and demand will kick in and the price will come down. I'm of the school of less government. Whatever it gets involved in it mucks it the hell up.

Of course the XOM's of the world will pocket the profits........ thats what companies do to reward their shareholders and employee's. Isnt that what you would want from your employer ?

There will be another technology revolution once a replacement for oil comes to the market.
