Phoenix and Washington, DC, are two examples of dramatically slowing sales and ballooning inventories. Insofar as the housing market was such a tremendous force on the upside it could be a serious drag on the downside.

PS Forget about the North Korean fireworks, weakness in the futures this morning is primarily attributed to this:
