Where you and I disagree is that I think he's going about it all wrong and is thus contributing to the problem, not the solution.

It helps (and it's fairly rare) when we can agree on precisely what we disagree about.

Let me state it and you tell me if it's the same way you see it. I think the problem of global warming won't get addressed at national and world political levels until there is sufficient alarm to translate into drastic and dramatic political mobilization. Political solutions will only emerge once that sense of alarm is present and mobilizing the relevant actors.

You think that we need a solution before any of that can take place.

Is that about right?
