RL, can I ask you a personal question? What are your politics? Left, right or libertarian.

I have declared I am a liberal democrat. And one could accuse me of being biased about global warming for that reason. But I am awe struck by how many of the naysayers are conservatives.

I know of no hard core liberals who deny global warming and every single person I meet who says it is questionable is pretty conservative.

As mentioned, one could easily argue we liberals are as involved in blind, dogmatic groupthink as conservatives. Why do we not have any naysayers?-lol Seems like group think to me-lol.

But I would bet you lean to the right (I do not mean for that to be a mean statement). I am just very curious RL for two reasons:

1) how and why did mainstay conservatives more or less categorically deny global warming and mainstay liberals support it?

2) how and why are the left and right forming categorical opionions rather than subject specific opinions??
