I think some are missing the point of global warming warnings. The evidence man is casuing global warming is very strong. What people are missing is that we do not have the luxury of waiting for 50 years of scientific evidence to take action. Most likely the artic ocean will be gone by then, and god only knows what else. The warming situation demands action right now. The large oil companies deny it and the right wing by and large either deny it or as mentioned have moved the argument to a "state of doubt" like DAK wants to take, so they do not have to do anything right now.
