Tim > they will just have an increasing amount of influence there Which means they'll have the leadership in their pockets and the masses can fend for themselves -- as usual. Even though Chinese imperialism may be "softer" than the Western variety, I don't think anyone in their right minds can regard it as the arrival of a charitable institution.
