From the nature of your posts I conclude that you are part of the evangelical crowd who prefer to politicize even the faith in God. The evangelicals who shout about religion from rooftops portray a sense of moral bankruptcy. Bush himself is an embodiment of that moral bankruptcy. The best years of his life was spent as an alcoholic and suddenly he professes to have found God. My belief is that God is always there speaking to each one of us on an individual level. But some of us like Bush deliberately decide to shut Him out to make it convenient to indulge in evil acts such as addiction to alcohol. And then one fine day wake up and yell from rooftops that God has been found.

With that said, the politicians you named in your post are the realists. They suggest an intelligent approach to fight terrorism, an approach where victory is assured. If you say hat Murtha knows nothing about war and Bush knows everything, then I think we don't need to waste our time discussing this any further. If you tell me that Cheney, Rove and Wolfowitz know more about war than does Jack Murtha, then you are vulnerable to ridicule. Jack Murtha was a hero to all these folks including Bush up until a year ago? Can Bush explain why he has changed his mind about Murtha? He is same Murtha he supported yesterday, didn't he? Simple questions deserve simple answers, don't you think?
