It cost a lot of money to hire the number of "guys" McGreevey hired. You mus also consider the corruption of his administration. It was as bad as it gets. I still am at a loss for why they haven't gone forward with criminal charges. There certainly is enough evidence.

I do think it has something to do with PC nonsense as well as a consideration for just how destructive to the office it might be.
