You should have more faith in our culture. It's one of the most admired in the world. Islam is not going to overtake us in any way shape or form. However by meddling in their affairs and trying to destroy their culture we have invited the same from them. I believe that the battle for freedom will not be won by force and occupation. It will be won by patience and example. Witness the tearing down of the Berlin wall. Most educated Middle Easterners love all things western. In time that will pervade the entire society. But we must keep up our part of the bargain by exhibiting fairness and respect of their culture. As for impeachment and holding my tongue about it, let me ask you..."Did the republicans hold their tongue when Clinton was being considered for impeachment? Did they show restraint? Reluctance? No my friend...right wing radio was sounding the trumpets of impeachment 24-7. Remember Clinton lied about having sex. Most people would lie about sex if pressured in a public arena about it. Compare that to lying about the threat level of Iraq. To taking a nation to war and blaming that war on Al Qaeda. No sir, if Clinton was fair bait for impeachment, so is Bush...only 2,543 fold more so.
