Comments on some of your stocks:
I'm having a difficult time with truck stocks at this point: I've rechecked LSTR and KNX, and some others (e.g. HTLD, my favorite, and which I no longer have), and they just look too expensive for me as buys now. (I started today to reduce my small position in ABFS. I do like and have shares of YRCW for its relatively low pe (low compared to competitors), although it's a company with some problems (integration of acquisitions, for example).
Not doing well with BBBY. It's at a new 12-month low. (HD too.) I've been looking at all these national big box general retailers, and the ones I see are near lows. I spotted TGT among the bunch, and I've decided it's a buy now for me for a few shares.
Finally getting around to looking at CHS, which occasionally shows up on screens and in media reports. Nice profit margins - high for many years, and Yahoo shows sales growth still. I'll consider this one. (Negatives for me are high p/sales, and my dislike for paying a high p/e for a woman's clothing retailer.)
CRDN. Tough one for me to figure. I'll pass for now. |
