We had the same thing in Amsterdam, where water shortages are not an issue, LOL.

It would be nice if a non-political factor like water started to limit suburban sprawl in America. Because once all those peri-urban communites are built out, they won't just go away like windblown frontier towns from the 1800's. People will live there and drive there for many decades to come. Personally I think we are way past the tipping point to change the direction of growth in the US, at least for the next generation or two.
