Your academic background seems somewhat limited which would explain how you can ignore the significance of this test.

This kind of report one opens up, checks the hypothesis to be tested and from there on go straight down to the conclusions and the discussion.
Next, if you are really interested in the details you go back and take it from the first tests after the hypothesis or several of those subjects to be tested and work your way towards the end.

Quite often the results of a test and thus the conclusion are somewhat different and surprising as compared to the initial hypothesis and thus lead to new assumptions and theories to be investigated and so forth.
That is scientific progress in a nutshell.

to make a long story short I posted the conclusion of this scientific test only and repeat it here for your convenience:

"When we analyzed CEO total pay it does have a positive impact on economic performance, but does not have an impact on corporate social performance."

Clear enough, right?
In this particular case this actually seems to have come as a true surprise to the scholars in charge of this investigation.

Post scriptum:

Incidentally and IMO in particular for you, who no doubt stand somewhat to the left of my personal political position - believe we can at least agree on that - that whole idea of "social performance" of a corporation should be of interest as well.
I actually never heard of it in my life before, but a good example no doubt is MSFT, where Gates has spent a lot of money on beefing up the social performance of his company as well.
