I have no clue but that question should be asked every day when we are told all kind of "absolutely true" stuff by the media. As opposed to Ted and his "if printed in NYT it must be true". Anyway, in the case of the so called "Global Warming" - back in the 70s everybody, scientists as well as media had it "Global Cooling" - "serious" work coming out every month with totally opposing conclusions seems to be the rule. No doubt, if you search long enough you may also come up with some links, which based on academic work seem to prove your point of "no correlation between salaries and corporate success". If no such link can be found, your case must be rather weak. Taro
