Your arguement for gold is very weak. In the past perhaps I could show up at your door with whale blubber and you would trade me your service - whatever it is you do for some of it - but not today - yet you wish to use that same logic for shiny metal - it is very very weak. Just because for thousands of years people worshipped a sun god called RA doesn't mean they always will - same for gold.

I agree we need more spocks - I want life extension technologies developed - I want flying spaceships and android lovers - this will take many PHd's the world over - farmer joe just can't provide that. I would have much rather all these real estate agents and housing bubble money went to training people in biomedical. I haven't went back to school to contribute to this research and knowledge - who here has? You haven't have you? Why not? Don't we all want to live a long time with strong youthful bodies? Is bill gates going back to school to study DNA and make new breakthroughs in science. Howard Hughes went back to school to study genetics right? How much of your services would you give me if I could give you 1000 years of quality life?
