yes, and longer still to catch up in net worth if the blue collar worker saves and invests wisely.

He's still working to catch up there and he inherited some to make up the difference. My husband is a rare bird though, he was a saver at a very early age and he bought a two unit investment property he could live in at age 26 when most of his buddies were investing in beer at the local bar and drinking up their rent.
