Oh yeah, American Armageddonists seek the destruction of Jews also.

How so? Nothing I've learned about the "apocalypse" movement over the years denotes a DESIRE to see Israel and all Jews wiped out. What I've read is that they are looking for the "signs" of the Apocalypse, one of which is Israel being attacked, and the Messiah and his 10,000 angels returning to earth to "knock heads" together and preserve the covenant that God made with the Jews to protect them.

But they are certainly NOT out to facilitate that destruction.

It's one thing to believe that something is going to happen, and quite another to act in a manner that causes that belief to come true.

But were we to see a growth of Christian militarism and the use of violence to proliferate their religious beliefs via forced conversions, then I would be just as willing to oppose them, politically (and militarily, if necessary) as I am to oppose militant Islamists.

God is ABOVE these petty human struggles.. Men fight wars in God's name.. I do not believe that God wishes us to force other people to believe in him via physical violence.

If he did, he would not be a God worth worshipping.
