driving it down the highway was like riding on a cloud Those 53 Buicks were a great barge. I called the hydromatic transmission the "slushomatic" because it took forever to rev up. The Yellow ones like the one I had all had a red leather interior.

I got in a drag race one night with it on El Cajon Blvd in the San Diego area. The guy on the right of me would have won easily except he ran into the back of a stopped Trash truck. Boy, did I keep going!
