You will notice that it does not occur to any of these Dems to CUT SPENDING TO BALANCE THE BUDGET!

Jonah - it's Jon Corzine who's against the tax on the wealthy. Corzine wants a sales tax increase, which Democrats in the legislature think will kill them electorally. Dems in the legislature want to increase the tax on those earing over 200K, which Corzine is against. Either way, there still is a huge hole in the budget that neither tax increase plan will solve. It's kind of amusing watching Democrats kill each other over which tax is the best to raise. Also, Corzine has flip flopped from a position he took against a sales tax increase back in 2000.
