"Bingo" wasn't my first reaction to your confirmation...it was "Damn" but at least the issue is resolved in my mind. Do you or anyone else with insight into the wireless industry know of other companies besides Qualomm who have set themselves up as aggregators of IPR pass-thru rights for their customers/licensees? I wonder whether, if Qualcomm lowered its royalty rate by 1%, another IPR claimant(s) in WCDMA would simply raise their own asking price to make up the difference? It sure strikes me as funny how Qualcomm's royalty rate is the only rate being charged that ever gets much debate...probably because its the biggest target as you pointed out earlier. Thanks, Bri
