Bush Pushes for Stern N. Korea Sanctions

apnews.excite.com

When Bush was pretty sure Saddam Hussein had WMDs, and thought he might have a nuclear program and maybe some missiles, it was an emergency, and we had to invade Iraq.

Now we know for sure that Kim Jong Il has nukes, and he's testing missiles that could reach our shores. Bush thinks we need to handle the situation diplomatically.

I'm sure our resident conservatives will explain to me why this makes sense. To them, at least.

To me it seems that the lesson for any rogue nation that wants to get respect from the U.S. is that you'd better get nukes, and you'd better do it fast.
