A woman apparently at the center of a rape-murder probe by the U.S. military in Iraq was only 15 and voiced fears about soldiers' advances before she and her family were killed in March, the Washington Post said on Monday. I read during the past week that they think the kidnapping, mutilation and brutal killing of two soldiers was in retaliation for the rape mentioned in the article. Apparently, the two soldiers are from the same company that housed the rapists before they were moved back to the States. I read about the rape and murders and I have to laugh at the Bushies repeated complaints that things are not as bad in Iraq as the media would have us believe......and that if the media would focus more on the good things happening in Iraq, we would not have such a negative view of the war. If the bushies don't consider the rapes, and brutal executions and the non stop car bombings to be bad, then what the hell do they consider bad? For that matter what do they consider good.......that Baghdad had four hours of electricity today up from 3 yesterday???
